The 21/22 Edelman Collection Bibliography (Google Doc)
This year, PNCA students chose the topic of Folklore & Mythology for the 2021-2022 Edelman Collection. Staff, faculty, and students from across Willamette University submitted many book and DVD suggestions for inclusion into the collection. From these suggestions, we selected 60 titles that span cultures, time, and disciplines. They touch on the diverse aspects of folklore and mythological studies, often intersecting with the themes of race, class, gender, and sexuality. Just as folklore and mythology give us a glimpse into the beliefs, values, and customs of a culture, the 2021-2022 Edelman Collection will be an enduring indication of the research, creative practice, and interests of the PNCA community.
